There were no palm trees where I grew up. No colorful umbrellas, no beautiful hats, no perfect postcards. Just open sky, endless water, and guaranteed inspiration, secrets told, long talks with friends.

We spent whole days there, some people in the water and me under the sun with no sunscreen. My skin will turn leather dark brown but I didn’t know better.  Girls played volleyball and boys played soccer. We buried ourselves in the sand and when into caves and natural pools made of sharp rocks and Rolling water from waves. We built worlds out of buckets and imagination, knowing they would disappear by morning. Nothing lasted, and yet everything mattered.

This painting is not about a specific beach. It is about your beach. The place where you were simply human.

We all carry a shoreline inside us.

This painting is a reminder of where happiness lived—and where it still waits for you.
